Details
Providing unsheltered individuals who are experiencing homelessness in the winter months a safe, loving, warm place to spend the night. The shelter hours are 7 pm - 8 am, Sunday - Saturday.
- Guests must be at least 18 years of age, independent, and ambulatory.
- The safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers is very important so we will provide professional security guards onsite during all operational hours.
Core Policies
- Guests are to be treated with dignity, respect, and love at all times. Even during difficult times.
- The program is for adults only. No one under 18 years of age.
- Guests will be presented with guest rules. Guests will be discharged from the shelter for violation of these rules.
- No refusal policy, with the exception of individuals involuntarily exited during this season from the program, non-ambulatory, and/or dependent on others for their medical needs.
- Entering the program does not require identification.
- We shall not discriminate against anyone seeking assistance.
Volunteers are the foundation of our program.
- We need Meal Preparation Teams Monday-Saturday at Trinity-Utica.
- We need 1-2 volunteerS daily from 6am-8am at the Shelter
- We need 12-14 volunteers daily from 6pm-10pm at the Shelter to assist with Check-in and Meal Service.
- There are a variety of assignments and responsibilities.
- They include assistance with intake, line management, serving a nightly dinner, routine cleaning, bag check-in, and directing guests to their assigned cots, bathrooms, etc.

Under 18 and want to help? Consider taking a clean-up duty between 5-7 pm (prior to the shelter opening).
